FAQs

  • Can you tell me more about Vijju?

Vijju is a very courageous young woman. Three years ago, she went to the police and pleaded with them to stop the child marriage her mother had arranged for her against her will. The police complied and brought Vijju to a World’s Children Home.

Now Vijju is 19, and she is becoming an independent and impressive young woman. She earns good marks, and enjoys singing, dancing and listening to music in her free time. Vijju studied hard in school and has been accepted to a college level banking program, where she will study for three years to become an accountant.
